COMING-OF-AGE PARTY.
To celebrate the coming of age of Miss Edna May Shelmerdino a party was hold at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Shelmerdino, of 801 l Road, Remuera, on Saturday evening. Chrysanthemums and dahlias wore arranged in the different rooms and the supper tablo was decoraled with pink flowers. Games and competitions were enjoyed by the many guests who were present. Mrs. Shelmerdine received wearing a frock of black silk taffeta and lace with a posy on the shoulders. Miss Edna Shelmei'dino wore a frock of macrame lace and flame crepe do chino with French bow at the hips and ivory-fringed shawl. Miss Edith Shelmerdino was in cream lace and apricot satin. Among the guests were:—Mrs. Ralph Zinian, Mrs. J. W. Probert, Mrs, Egerton Gill, Mrs. Colin Muston, Mrs. Louis Blood, Mrs. George Savory, Mrs. Kenneth Thomas, Mrs. John Bell, Mrs. S. Webb, Mrs. F. Butcher, Miss Gertrude Bertram, Miss G. Cameron, Miss Violet Lowis, Miss Mona Bell, Miss Ella Postles, Miss Enid Wall, Miss M. McGan, Miss C. Johnson, Miss E. Taylor, Miss Mavis Blood, Miss Lillian Harris, Miss M. Chester.
