Mrs. F. Bevin, of To Awamulu, entertained a number of friends at her residence, Bank of New Zealand, on Monday evening. Tho drawing room looked gay and cosy with Into autumn flowers and a largo log firo brightly burning. Mrs. Bevin wore a black frock relieved with pink. Tho prizes vvero won by Mrs. l'\ Bowden, Mrs. R. N. Lord and Mrs. E. Potts. The guests present were:—Mrs, F, Bowden. Mrs. do L. Peako, Mrs. I}. N. Lord, Mrs. E, Potts, Mrs. Hawkins. Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. J. Oliphant, Mrs. A. A. Reese, Mrs, 0. Blundoll, Mrs. C. 0. Downes, Mrs. W, Jofferv, Mrs. L, Dunn. Mr, and Mrs. I. McDonald, of Gisborno, nre visiting Mrs. Tensdale, of Toasdiilo Street Miwtt Focko is visiting Auckland.
