MOTOR TYRE EXPLODES.

TWO MEN INJURED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGAREI, Friday. Two members of the staff of Whangarei Kia Ora Motors were adjusting a new motor tyre to-day when the tyre exploded. Mr. R. D. McKenzie sustained painful facial injuries, and it is believed his nose is broken. Ho was treated at a surgery and taken home. His companion, Mr. 0. B. Manns, had the top of his thumb nearly severed.
