CAR AND LORRY COLLIDE.
WOMAN INJURED ON FACE. [BY TELEGRAPH.- —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DARGAVILLE, Friday. A motor-car driven by Mr. W. Cates, of Te Kopuru, who was accompanied by Mrs. Cates, to-day met in violent collision with a heavy cream motor-lorry owned by the Northern Wairoa Dairy Company and driven by Mr. James Burnett. Mrs. Cates was thrown out on to the road and suffered injuries to her face, which required medical attention. The drivers of the vehicles were not hurt. The car was considerably damaged, but the lorry escaped fairly lightly.
