GLOVE CLEANING.

v SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE. I I Coloured gloves which are not washable may be dry-cleaned at home when not soiled enough for professional treatment. Mix together equal parts of fuller's earth and finely powdered alum, rub this powder well into the soiled parts with a clean rag, and leave for two hours. Then brush and shake the gloves well, apply warm bran or oatmeal, and again brush. Washablo gloves should be washed in ft warm lather on the hands. Rinse them well, in the case of chamois gloves using clean soapy rinsing water to keep the leather soft.
