NEW POST OFFICE.

BUILDING AT NAPIER. FOUNDATION-STONE LAID. [BY TK LEGE Aril. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] NAPIER, Thursday. The foundation-stono of the new post office at Napier was laid this afternoon by the Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward. The building is to replace tho one that has been in use for 53 years. The contract price is £52,745. It will be three storeys in height and of steel frame and concrete construction. British materials will predominate and all tho timber, cement and stone is being obtained in Now Zealand. The finished building will bo modern in design and imposing in aspect.
