A polico messago received at To Kuiti states that Charles Day, who has been employed at tho Waitomo Ilostel, and who disappeared from the institution on Saturday last, and was thought to have been lost, has turned up at Tuakau, He went away without giving any notice of his intention, or of his whereabouts, and the police and search parties had been scouring tho bush and precincts of tho hostel for several days.
