VISIT OF COMMISSIONER.

Commissioner James Hay, head of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, will arrive in Auckland this afternoon. He is to speak at a welcome gathering in the Congress Hall, Grey's Avenue, to-morrow evening, and he will hold three meetings in the hall on Sunday. The Commissioner will give a special talk on "Sons of God" at 11 a.m.

The Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, Minister of Health, will preside at the afternoon meeting on' Sunday, when Mr. Hay's subject will bo "The High Council and the Future of the Salvation Army." The Sunday evening service at seven o'clock will also be addressed by the commissioner, h.is subject being "The Great Assize."
