TERRITORIAL POSTINGS.
VISIT OF MINISTER.
[El' TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PAEROA, Thursday. For the four months ended March 31 last the Paeroa Borough Council's baths yielded a revenue of £139 for an expendituro of £57. The staff of the No. 2 military regimental district will assemble at Paeroa on May 20 for the annual posting. Qualified cadets will be posted to the territorials and territorials who have served their timo will be posted to tho reserves. A correspondence course of training for officers and non-commissioned officers of the Hauraki Regiment will_ be commenced early in June, with a view to assisting in tho promotion examinations in September. The Hon. G. W. Forbes, Minister of Lands, will commence an intensive tour of the Thames electorate at Kerepeehi on May 17. After visiting the Hauraki Plains the Minister will travel to Thames, Coromandel, Waihi and Paeroa, before proceeding to To Aroha and Mornnsville. It is ov.pr three years since the electorate was visited by a Minister of Lands. Over 90 certificates for proficiency in swimming have been awarded to pupils of tho Paeroa District High School.
