COMPENSATION CLAIM.
ACTION AGAINST LOCAL BODY Decision will bo given by Mr. Justice Kennedy in the Supremo Court to-day in the claim by Enos S. Pegler (Mr. Meredith) against tho Manurewa Town Board (Mr. Johnstone). The claim is for £650, which tho plaintiff alleges his property has suffered in depreciation through tho raising of tho level of tho Great South Road by the defendant board. The defendant's caso was closed and counsels' addresses wero heard yesterday morning.
