COST OF NEW INSTRUMENTS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TAURANGA, Wednesday. The annual meeting of the Tauranga Municipal Band was held last evening, Mr. B. C. Bobbins presiding. The report stated that a new set of instruments were purchased at a cost of £429. The balance due on tho instruments was £244. Officers were elected as follows:—President, Mr. B. C. Bobbins; chairman, Mr. P W. Allen; secretary-treasurer, Mr. .1. F R. Wallace; conductor, Mr. W. Ebbott; committee, Messrs. P. W. Allen, J. F. R. Wallace. W. Ebbett, R. Stuart, A. Cannell, T. Milne and W. Robinson; auditor, Mr. G T. Clinkard; drum major, Mr. P. G. Mcintosh; sergeant, Mr. H. Bougen; corporal, Mr. T. Milne; librarian, Mr. R. Stuart.
