CHAMPION FRIESIAN.
TE AROHA FARMER'S WIN. [bv telegraph.— own correspondent.] TE AROHA, Wednesday. Advice has been received by Mr. F. D. Halligan, of Te Aroha, that his heifer, Fairmont No. 16, has won the New Zealand Friesian Derby, and been awarded the prize of £SO. The animal, which was only one year 356 days old when entered for the competition, produced 17,898.61b. of milk and 6431b. of butter in 365 days. Mr. Halligan's farm .is at Chudleigh, and is as yet in a semicultivated state.
