RAILWAY AT TAURANGA.
SUCCESS OF EXCURSIONS.
['BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN* CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA. Wednesday. The commercial manager of the railways, Mr. D. Hociie, is visiting the Bay of Plenty and is inquiring into local railway matters. He said the department was very satisfied with the success of the special excursions to Tauranga and they would be specially featured next season. The department expressed appreciation of the help given by the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce in connection with the excursions.
