COMING DISSOLUTION.
KING GEORGE TO ACT.
WILL HOLD PRIVY COUNCIL.
Australian Press Association—United Service LONDON, April 29.
King George will hold a Privy Council at Oraigweil House. Bognor, on May 10, in connection with the dissolution of Parliament, a procedure which is specifically excluded from the scope of the Council of State, It is understood that His Majesty has l expressed a desire personally to deal with matters connected with the dissolution and the general election.
The forthcoming Privy Council does not foreshadow a dissolution of the Council of State. Probably it will still function for some time in order to prevent the King taking up the full burden of State work while he is still somewhat weak.
