SHOUTS IN COMMONS.
REDS DISTURB DEBATE. CAUSE OF THE INDIANS. Australian Pre 33 Association— Service LONDON. April 29. A demonstration against the Indian Commission was made in the House of Commons to-day while a debate was in progress on a subject in no way connected with India. A white haired, well dressed man in the gallery leapt to his feet and scattered in the Chamber numerous blue leaflets. As he did so he shouted: "Down with the Simon Commission."
The interrupter was led out. He offered no resistance. As soon as he had left the House, a woman who bad been sitting near him rose and shouted; " Down with persecutions. Down with the Government which murders Indian workers."
While the woman was being led out she shouted: "Down with the torturers and murderers." She then sang The Red Flag."
Both interrupters admitted that they were Communists. They were detained until the House rose.
