ENGLISH CHOCOLATES.
FACTORY IN NEW ZEALAND*
PROMINENT FIRM'S DECISION.
Two well-known brands of English chocolates willshortly be manufactured in New Zealand, according to Mr. Gy Sara, managing director in New Zealand for Cadbury's and Fry's Chocolates (New, Zealand), Limited, who returned by . tha Tamaroa yesterday from a visit to Eng-s land. ' > ,
Mr. Sara stated the chocolates would be manufactured in the Dominion owing to the high duties imposed ".."on imported goods. It had not yet been decided where the factory would be established, but that question would be gone into immediately., "Experts on the manufacturing side Will shortly arrive in the Dominion to direct operations," Mr. Sara stated. " Otherwise 'New Zealand labour will bo employed. We will make a chocolate every bit as good as the English article. It- may not be known that our chocolates are twice as dear - in New Zealand as they are in Great Britain." .
