j NAVY CHALLENGE PENNANT. The control bonid of flic Auckland Football Association met last evening, the chairjnnn. Mr. A. Menzfcs. presiding. In response to a request from Mr. D. E. "Young, president of the North Auckland Football Association, it. was unanimously resolved to send a representative side to "Whnngarei during the season. The possibility of a Navy team visiting North Auckland will also be investigated. It was decided tu advise Mr. A. J. Hydcr, the Auckland representative on the New Zealand Council, that the Auckland Football Association was in favour of an Australian tour confined to the North Island only and further also favoured an annual interchange >f tours between Australia and New Zealand.

The match for the Navy challenge pennant between H.M.S. Duncdin and H.M.S. Diomcdc will be played at Blandford Park on May 25.

It was decided that the next night fixture should be the New Zealand Navy versus the British Navy. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. The brilliant form of Iho Navy players ■was fully demonstrated last Wednesday evening when a game with the Auckland team ended in a draw.
