The annual meeting of the Dargaville Chamber of Commerce was held last evening, Mr. A. E. Harding presiding. The balance-sheet presented showed a credit of £42. i , : .
Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: —President, Mr. W. Whitniore; vice-presidents, Messrs. M. 11. Tonkin, F. Jzzard; council, Messrs. F. J. Dargaville, C. L. Bagnall, A. E. Harding, F. A. Jones, P. J. Sundberg and W. B. Morrice, the appointment of a further four members being delegated to the incoming council; secretary and treasurer. Mr. B. S. Angus; hon. auditor, Mr. J. Hogg.
