INTOXICATED MOTORIST.
RESISTANCE TO ARREST.
FINES TOTALLING £2O IMPOSED. [by TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORIIEafOXDENT.] NGARUAAVAHIA, Tuesday. A plea of guilty was entered by Hugh Richard Plrimister, of Pukemiro, who was charged before justices this morning with being drunk while in charge of a motorcar, resisting tho police while being arrested, and assaulting a civilian called in to assist the police. On the first charge a fine of £lO was imposed and accused's driving licenco was cancelled for 12 months. On each of tho other charges he was fined £5, in default one month's imprisonment. Accused said he would pay the fines.
