TRANSPORT BOARD LOAN.
SUPPORT OF RATEPAYERS.
A large meeting of the Remuera East Ratepayers' Association was held in the Meadowbank School last evening, when the Transport Board's loan proposals were explained by Mr. J. A. C. Allum, chairman of the board.
Mr. Allum said if tho tramways extension loan was carried, work on the Remuera extension would commence about March, 1930, and would be completed about the same time as the Pt. Chevalier route
The meeting unanimously decided to support the loan proposal.
