DYSENTERY CASES.
FOUR IN CITY AREA. Nino more casos of dysentery, four of thorn in tho city area, wore notified to the Hoalt.li Department yesterday. Two casos were reported from Remuera, one from Epsom, and one from Newmarket. These'four patients aro Europeans. Tho other five notifications vvero from country districts.
Commenting on tlie city cases, Dr. T. J. Hughe;!, medical officer of health, said that a few cases had been occurring in tho city area from timo to timo. There wero no doubt "carriers" in the city. Although tho groat majority of those afflicted had been Maoris, Europeans were •not' immrino. and cases kept occurring.
