TRANSPORT BOARD NOTICES. J^ UCKLAND TRANSPORT BOARD. THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT. 1920. PROPOSED LOAN OF £520,600. The Auckland Transport Board having obtained the necessary Statutory consent of tlio Local Government Loans Board, hereby gives notice, in pursuance of " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926 1. That the Auckland Transport Board proposes to engage ill the following undertaking. namely, the Extension and Improvement of Tramways us followo: — Tramway Extension, Surrey Crescent to Pt. Chevalier. Tramway Extension on Remuera Road. Tramway Extension on Mt. Eden Road. Tramway Extension on Dominion Road. Tramway Extension, Edendale R°ad- . Tramway Extension on Richmond Road. Tramway Loop at New Auckland Railway Station. . -A. Tramway Siding in Stanley Street. Duplication of Tramway Track at Onehunga. , Provision of New Trnmcars and Plant. Improvement and Enlargement of worJcshops. 2. That the Auckland Transport Board, being unable to provide tho funds for such work out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to raise a Special Loan of not exceeding £520,600, and to be known as tho Irans port Development Loan, 1929." 3 That the said Loan will be repayable at the end of twenty (20) years, with provision for a Sinking Fund of not less than Three Pounds (£3) per centum per annum. 4. That the proposed security for the said Loan shall be a Specia.l Rate of 3/16 th of Id in the £ on the rateable capital value of the Board's District. 5. That the Auckland Transport Board proposes to pay out of such iioan such costs, charges and expenses as the Auckland Transport Board may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such Loan, but no portion of the Interest or Sinking Fund. , , .
