In the mutter of " The Electric-Power j Boards Act, 1925," "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1920," "The Local Government Loans Board Act, ]92tj," and Amendments and Regulatiious made thereunder respectively, notice is hereby given that the Franklin Electric-Power Board proposes to raiso a Special Loan. Tho purposo for which the Loan ib required is for the supply and distribution of electric energy for the benefit of the Constituent Districts of Franklin County. Pukekohe Borough, Waiuku Town and Tuakau Town within the Franklin ElectricPower District and for such purpose to do nil or any of such matters and things which tho Board is empowered to do by the ""Electric-Power Boards Act, 1925," and its Amendments and in particular, but without, limiting mi any way any of tho aforesaid powers, to provide, erect and con--struct additions and extensions to tho present system of electrioil distribution and reticulation, to purchase plant, land, easements. general equipment and any existing electrical installations and plants, to eject generating stations, buildings and offices within or without such district as hereinbefore defined, and to mako provision for financial assistance to consumers and for trading purposes as provided by the said Act. . I Tho sum proposed to be borrowed is Seventy-five Thousand Pounds (£75,000), to be raised pursuant to the consent of tho Local Government Loans Board in the manner following:—(a) Twenty-five Thousand Pounds (£25.000) in such instalments as may be required. (b) Fifty Thousand Pounds (£50,000) only after resubmission to the Local Government Loans Board and with their approval. The proposed security for the payment of interest, sinking fund and other charges on the said Loan is a Special Rate of Onesixth (1/fith) of n Penny in the Pound upon tho rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Constituent Districts of Franklin County, Pukekohe Borough, Waiuku Town and Tuak.au Town within tho Franklin Elect vie Power District. It is proposed to make such Loan repayable. in Twenty-six (26) years and also to make provision for a sinking fund of Two pounds (£2) per centum per annum. It is intended to pay out of the Loan such cost 3, charges and expenses as may havo been actually incurred in connection with the raising of such Loan. Pursuant to tho consent of tho Local Government Loans Board no interest or sinking fund payments will bo made out of the Loan and 110 additions or extensions to tho Board's reticulation system will be undertaken unless a guaranteed revenue of Sixteen and One-half (101) per centum on the capital outlay is obtainable.
