The annual meeting of tho Glendowie Golf Club, which was postponed, was continued at the clubhouse on Saturday. The following officers were elected:—President, Mr. K. Brookfield; vice-presidents. Messrs. J. Hall and F. Trice; club captain, Mr. A. I\. Duthie; members representing the club on the committee with the directors the company, 'Messrs. U. A. Forgie and N. C. Sneddon. Over 100 players were present at tho official opening of the Paeroa Golf Club's season on Saturday. Visitors from nil tho adjacent clubs were present. Mr. Pellow. president, welcomed the visitors and officially opened the links for play. A mixed foursome was played nnd resulted in a win for Miss L, Thorp (Pneron) mid Pennell (Thsmes).
