ANZAC AND UNEMPLOYMENT.
Sir,—The subjects in this heading, prominent in thought at present, may on the surface appear to be as isolated as the poles—yet are they ? The ' remembrance" spirit of Anzac might well be extended to concentrated thought and action to tho problem of unemployment, evolving some scheme of betterment in our own land and the world in general, achieving in some measure the objective of Anzacs and all British soldiers and sailors, "that a better world may be tho outcome of their sacrifice." Students of evolution might, with practical value to humanity, devote their minds to solution of the problem of the lower forms of creation fill finding sustenance while many of "the masterpiece of creation" are at their wits end to obtain a livelihood. Geo. I^alla. Devonport.
