TE AWAMUTU ORPHANS.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN COMIESPONDES T. ] TE AWAMUTTT, Monday. The Te Awamutu Orphans' Club held its sixth annual meeting on Saturday evening, Mr, A. A. Reeso presiding over an attendance of about 70 members. Tho balance-sheet showed a credit of over £3O, and assets exceeding £25. Tho report showed a sustained interest throughout the year and recorded visits from many clubs.
Tho election of officers resulted Patron, Mr. W. J Broad foot, M.P.; president, Bin. S. S. Preston; vice-presidents, Bros. L. o>. Armstrong, H. A. Swarbrick and J. Rent; secretary, Bro. IT. K. Smith; treasurer, Bro. S. G. Riddell; auditor, Bro. D. Rockett; chief steward, Bro. C. A. Finch; programme steward, Bro. J. T. North; conductor, Bro. J. Mayo; accompanist, Bro. W. G. Rollitt; committee, Bros. S. Clark, It. Laurie, G. F. Smith, It. Noonan, J. F. Jones, A. T. Cooper, A. Bond.
