POPPY DAY RETURNS.

TOTAL OF £1914 RECEIVED. AMOUNTS FROM VARIOUS STALLS. Tho returns from the recent sale of poppies and from donations and wreaths liavo now all coma to hand, and amount to a grand total of £1914 Is 2d, received in Auckland city and suburbs by tho Returned Soldiers' Association. A certain amount of overhead expense will have to be mot out of this sum, tho initial cost of the poppies themselves being soveral hundred pounds. The net total will be a little over £I2OO, according to the secretary, Mr. E. IT. Sharp.
