SPORT AT TOKAANU.

MANY VISITING ANGLERS.

Trout fishing at Tokaanu still continues to meet expectations. The hotel and camps are fully occupied by visiting anglers. Tho Tongariro River is affording some excellent sport and tho more fortunate anglers have been securing up to 15 fish a day. In many instances tho average weight has been B^lb. In view of tho shooting season, which opens on Wednesday, large numbers of visitors have arranged to visit Tokaanu, where every indication is that tho shooting season will be very successful. Duck and other game are extremely plentiful.

The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, and party will arrive this week to participate in tho sport.
