MOUNT FALLS IN RACE. [dv telegram:.—own correspondent.! HAMILTON. Sunday. While- riding Glena Bay in the Frankton Hurdles, the first event' at . the Waikato Racing Club's meeting at Te Rapa yesterday, 11. E. Thompson, of Frankton, was thrown"when his mount fell. He sustained a fracture of the leg. lie was taken to the Waikato Hospital, and is progressing favourably.
