MOTORING ACCIDENTS.
TWO CYCLISTS IN HOSPITAL. INJURIES TO CAR DRIVER. Two youths riding on a motor-cycle received fractures of the left leg when they became involved in a collision with a motor-van near tho Dominion Boad terminus 011 Saturday morning. They are George Walker, aged 19, and his urother, .Andrew Walker, aged 14, of May Road, Mount Roskill, and they were taken to tho Auckland Hospital. A broken thigh and cuts on tho face were sustained by Mr. Ilenry Donald, of 19, Selkirk Boad, Mount Albert, whose car collided with a tramway centre-pole in Parnell Boad, near tho top of St. Stephen's Avenue, on Saturday evening. Mr. Donald was the only occupant of tho car. 'J lie motor was badly damaged, 0110 front wheel being broken in halves, and tho front spring and bumper twisted out of shape, while the engine was also damaged. Three vehicles were concerned in a collision on the Great South Boad near Papatoetoe early 011 Saturday morning. A fruit cart driven by an Jndian hawker had ono wheel broken off and the load scattered, and a, light van had its radiator damaged, while the. third vehicle, a motor-car, was not damaged.
CYCLE AND CAR COLLIDE. PILLION BIDEB HUHT. [UJT TKI.KGItArtI.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. 1 HAMILTON, Sunday. A young woman, Miss May Butler, of Birnu Street, Frankton, sustained cuts on the left leg in a collision between a motorcar and a motor-cycle in London Street last evening. Miss Butler was riding on the pillion of the motor-cycle, which was being driven by Mr. Cecil M. Bel/., of Hamilton. The driver of (he motor-car was Mr. Sydney Sims, of Orini. Both vehicles were slightly damaged.
