CAR AND TRUCK COLLIDE.
OCCUPANT CUT BY GLASS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. 1 MORRINSVILLE, Friday. A party of young people returning in a car from a dance last evening collided with a loaded metal-truck, driven by Mr. A. Hayes. Tho impact caused tho windscreen of tho car to splinter, resulting in slight injuries to tho driver, Mr. John Baker, and rather serious facial injuries to Miss Kathleen Gilford. Miss Gifford received medical attention and was removed to the hospital. Tho radiator of the car was damaged extensively, while the mudguard and spring of tho lorry were smashed.
