A DIETETIC MISTAKE.
FOOD BETWEEN MEALS. A dietetic mistake is what a leading medical practitioner labels the practice of taking food between meals. The average meal takes about three hours to digest, and to take other food within that time, prolongs digestion. Tho taking of some hot fluid three hours after a meal, however, has a distinct advantage, practically cleaning tho stomach. Such a benefit was conferred by Russian tea, weak,' fresh, and very hot, with a .squeeze of lemon, if possible, but little or no sugar, and certainly with no milk.
