ANZAC ANNIVERSARY.

Next week on Thursday, April 25, we shall commemorate the thirteenth anniversary of Anzac Day. Every boy and girl in No. Zealand knows win; An.zac Day stands for in the history of our country and in the hearts of its people. There will bo services commemoration in all our cities 011 Thursday, and special referenced to this sacred day will 110 doubt bo made in tho schnls during the week. Anzac Day cannot bo commemorated m tho,country districts with the samo solemn observance as in the towns, but there i ono way in which u great many boys and girls can pay their tribute to tho men of Anzac; in country districts whore there are Soldiers' Memorials, they can carry Flowers of Remembranco to these momor'p'" *'d lay them there in memory of tho dead. . . . Many schools will no doubt include this ceremony in their Anzac Day observance; others may not. so I put forward tho idea in the hope that it may bo adopted by some of our boys and girls, and that they will write and tell mo of the observance.
