WALKED AFTER 12 YEARS.
A BELIEF IN PRAYERS. Injured 12 years ago by a car and bedridden over since, Miss Annie Davenport, aged 42, of Arclid, Sand bach, got up in February and walked for the first time, says a London newspaper. She was overjoyed at her recovery. For twelve years, she said, she lay in bod, often in agony. Her father prayed continually for her recovery, but lie died last December. ' " I believe," she said. " that the miracle of my recovery has been wrought by my Jate father's divine intercession." Describing her experience, Miss Davenport said that she raised herself in bed, and felt a great change como over her. She dressed and to tho amazement of her mother, walked to the next room unaided. "It was morvcllons," she said. " The neighbours could not believe their eyes and the. baker's man looked aghast when I opened the door."
