£36,000 FOR FIANCEE.
Wl DOWER'S SUDDEN DEATH. Formerly Liberal M.P. for the Shipley Division of Yorkshire, .Sir Henry Norman Rac. of Harrow-gate, it was revealed recently, left unsettled property valued at W65.1R7, with net personality amounting lo £444,776. The feature of it, is a gift of £36,000 to his fiancee, Miss Elsie Taylor, of Batley. Yorkshire. Sir Norman died suddenly at the ago of 68, on December 31 last, while having tea at Miss Taylor's home. He was a member of the firm of Tickles and Hae, wool merchants, of Bradford. Sir Henry was the son of a Congregational minister and made a romantic marriago with a mill girl in 1883. Lady Rae died in 1927. The bequests in the will include £20,000 to Mary Aline Van Yleck, and £IOOO each to three women employees of Sir Norman's firm.
