AUCKLAND EXHIBITION. CHRYSANTHEMUM CLUB AWARDS. The Auckland Horticultural Society's Chrysanthemum Show - "was again open yesterday at the Municipal Hall, Newmarket. numerous visitors and enthusiasts inspecting the fine display of blooms, which were auctioned at the close of the exhibition.
Tlio following awards in the various classes were made by the Auckland Chrysanthemum Club: —
Abbott Cup, for Champion of Champions.—Mr. G. B. Simpson's "Gallipoli." Mr. Simpson also won the Dall Cup, the Hopkins and Shaw Cup, the Karenza Florists trophy, the Yates coupons, Mrs. Andrew's trophy and the Sibun trophy. Mr. A. E. McMahon was awarded the Fall's Memorial trophy, the MacKay Cup, the McMahon trophy, the Mitchelson Challenge Cup, and the Hopkins' and Shaw coupons. Mr. Couch won the D. Hay and Son prize, the Wiseman trophy, the O'Leary and Downs' trophy and the Brewiw trophy. Mr. A. Garside won the Bateson trophy, the Mitchelson prize and the Yates coupons.
Schmidt Trophy.—Miss C. L. Tuke. Sutcliffe and Galloway Trophy. —Mr. J Kmpen. Mitchelson Prize. —Mrs. A. B. Abbott Braithwaite Trophy.—Mr. W. A Cowan. Ballau Cup.—Mrs. McMahon.
