TE AWAMUTU NEWS.

Miss Eleanor Peake and Miss Linda Bray, of To Awamutu, gave a most enjoyable dance in the Town Hall on Tuesday evening. Excellent music was player! by the Brown Boy's Orchestra. The hall was tastefully decorated with flowers and greenery and a portion of the floor was arranged as a; drawing room, where bridge tables were available for those who did not care to dance. Miss Peake wore a frock of gold lace lined with pink georgette and Miss Bray's frock was of blushrose chiffon velvet. Mrs. H. clb L. Peake wore black georgette relieved with pale pink georgette and diamante, and Mrs. C. G. Downe, mother of Miss Bray, woro a frock of black georgette and lace.
