PARNELL BUSES.
Sir,—l read with interest in yout paper a few days ago that. Sydney il adopting huge motor-buses to carry 51 passengers. Well, we can go one better in Auckland. Sometimes, and pretty often, our Parnell buses carry 54 passengers, and the buses are not doubledeckers. Sydneyites should come over here and get a wrinkle -from our local tramway management how to run buses economically (to the inconvenience of tbc public). This overcrowding would not for a moment have been allowed by the A.C.C. with any private enterprise. The Parnell bus service is totally inadequate to requirements. Parnellite. •
