INTOXICATED DRIVERS.

PARKED BY POLICE STATION. CASE AT MORRINSVILLE. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] MOR RINSVILLE, Friday. A young man, Charles Rastrick, was fined £5 in the Morvinsville Police Court to-day on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-lorry. It was stated that Constable Keeps found accused drunk in a lorry, which was parked outside the police station. Accused was engaged on a metalling contract. TAXI-MAN FINED £25. SUSPENSION OF LICENCE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] MASTERTON. Friday. A taxi-driver, Jesse Eley, was to-day charged with being drunk while driving a car. He was lined £25 and his licence was cancelled for 12 months.
