EXPLOSION ON DREDGE.
DEATH OF INJURED MAN.
ENGINEER'S FATAL BURNS.

The death occurred late last night in hospital of Mr. Duncan McKinnon. second engineer, one of the two men who were injured by the explosion in the tunnel of the dredge Kiaone on Thursday morning. He was 54 years of age, and married, with no family. Mr. McKinnon was burned on the head and arms, and alsq suffered from shock.
Mr. W. McKeague, who was also injured, is improving slightly. The cause of the explosion is still a mystery.
