KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR.

BROKEN LEG SUSTAINED. [BY TELEGRAM. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. 1 WAITAKARUKU, Sunday. When Mr. Alexander Creig, of Waitakaruvu, was alighting from a car at about 9 p.m. yesterday, he was knocked down by a service car driven by Mr. -J. Corbett, which was en route to Thames. Mr. Crbig was conveyed by ambulance to the Thames Hospital, where his leg was found, to have been broken. Hjs condition this evening was reported as satisfactory.
