ORAKEI SEWAGE.
Sir,—The city engineer says that none of the beaches has been polluted by sewage. That may be so, but there is not tho slightest doubt that the atmosphere or the Orakei shore, in the vicinity of the outiall, is polluted when the breeza is shoreward. Through the zone of polluted ozone tho waterfront road will run —a road which ought to be the pride of Auckland. Obviously new outiall arrangements will have to be made and quickly. Sea Bueezes.
