WEATHEE PROPITIOUS.
SECRET ROUTE TO SEASIDE.
PREPARATIONS FOR COMFORT.
Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received February 6, 5.45 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 6,
The weather in England early this morning was cold but dry, and there was promise of a few gleams of sunshine. The King may go to Bognor today. Ho will bo driven by a secret route which provides a perfectly smooth surface on all the road.
Patrols will be warned immediately before the ambulance starts, so that crossroad traffic may be halted. The Queen is expected to arrive at Bognor an hour earlier than the King. It is now agreed that the sooner the King leaves London the better will bo his chance of an early convalescence. At Bognor sunshine prevails on many days when London is shrouded in gloom. Moreover the nights and mornings have been very foggy in London lately. His "Majesty's bedroom at Bognor is a large, long chamber with plenty of windows, the glass of which has been replaced by vitaglass, which admits ultraviolet rays. There it is hoped the King will enjoy the full warmth of the midday sun. In order that His Majesty may derive the fullest benefit the Queen has given instructions for the removal of the heavy furniture so that the King's bed, which is on wheels, can bo moved freely.
