SENSATION IN IRELAND.
ARREST OF DE VALERA.
HELD AT ULSTER BORDER.
LODGED IN BELFAST GAOL.

LONDON. Feb. C. Tho arrest of Mr. Eamonn do Valera, leader of the Irish Republicans, is reported from Belfast. It took place yesterday on the border of Ulster.
Mr. de Valera was on the way bv train to Belfast to open and to deliver au address at a Gaelic bazaar.. He was apprehended under an old order which prohibited his entry into Ulster. Subsequently ho was lodged in gaol at Belfast. Ihe Rev. Mr. Fullerton, who presided at the bazaar, said: We invited a gentleman to open our bazaar, but he has been detained. He was invited to leave the train at Goraghwood to see something, and ho went to the stationmaster's office. The train left the station without him.
