PAPATOETOE INTERESTS.
RAILWAY IMPROVEMENTS. Tho I'apatoctoc Wclfnro League mot on Monday evening, Colonel Closey presiding. In introducing Mr. A. E. Lovell, of the Railway Department, the chairman said Papatoetoo required additional or improved transport facilities, and some adjustment in the mailer of railway fares was necessary. Mr. Lovell said tic would welcome any suggestions of improvements, and promised to bring them boforo tho department. Various suggestions were made in connection with the train service, and it was decided to try to obtain a shed for storing tho bicycles of passengers. Tho necessity for somo better means of access to tho railway platform was also urged. A voto of thanks was passed to Mr. Lovelf.
