MALCONTENTS AT VALENCIA.
SUICIDE OF THREE OFFICERS.

Tho British United Press Association says telephoned despatches from Valencia state that a new revolt there was nipped in the bud.
General San Jurjo went to the city by air from Madrid. He found a small portion of the garrison in revolt and had General Cabanellas arrested. He then forced the malcontents to submit.
It is reported that an attempt was made to release Scnor Sanchez Guerra, the ex-Prime Minister, who previously had narrowly escaped asphyxiation in his cell through charcoal fumes from a brazier. The Paris correspondent of the Daily News says the rising began when the rescue was attempted under an officer of high rank. A lightning coup was planned, but loyal troops intervened and fierce fighting ensued. Thero was some bloodshed, but the revolutionaries were finally overcome and arrested.
A message from Madrid says it is officially announced that tho Government sent General San Jurjo to \alencia to 10move* the civil and military officials in whom it had no confidence.
Advices received from Paris state that tho newspaper Lo Journal says thice of tho Spanish officers concerned in the attempted revolt, who were sentenced to death at Ciudad Real, committed suicide.
