HEAT AND A CLOUDBURST. CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE DONE. BRISBANE. Feb. 4. A message from Eumundi, Queensland, says a terrific heat wave v.as experienced in the coastal districts. It culminated in a cloudburst. Ten and a-half inches of rain were recorded in two hours. Crops were flattened, fences and roads verb washed out and a 60ft. bridge was washed away. A railway lino was damaged and the train services were disorganised.
