EIGHTS OF MINORITIES.
PROBLEM FOR THK LEAGUE.
ALARM AT GERMAN ATTITUDE. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received February 4, 11.45 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 4. The diplomatic correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says tho League of Nations is alarned at the prospect of the bitter and acute controversy entailed in the determination of Herr Stresemann, German Foreign Minister, to raise the question of guarantees and the rights of minorities at the sitting of the Council in March.
Mr. Raoul Dandurand (Canada) will support Herr Stresemann from a different angle. He intends to demand improved procedure to enable racial and religious minorities to have their grievances brought up before the League more promptly.
