GIG FALLS OVER BANK.
WOMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED.

TAIHAPE, Monday
A gig driven by Mr. S. McConachie, who was accompanied by Mrs. Dodds and Mrs. B. Marchioni, went over a bank at Moawhango; near Taihape, last evening and fell about 18ft. Mrs. Marchioni sustained severe abrasions and internal injuries and was admitted to the Taihape Hospital. She is progressing as well as can be expected. Mr. McConachie and. Mrs. Dodds escaped uninjured. Tho accident was caused through the horse becoming frightened and pulling the gig off the road. Mrs. Marchioni resides at Taihape.
