SANDERS CUP CONTEST.
AUCKLAND CREW SELECTED.
The crew to sail Avnlon, the Auckland representative in (lie annual contest for the Sanders Cup, has now been selected. Mr. A. Willetts, owner of the champion 16-foofet Mistral, who sailed Avnlon in the trial races, lias been chosen as skipper, and will have associated with him as his crew Messrs. F. Cloke, owner of Avalon, as rnainshect liaml, J. Lairit as forward hand, and J. Currey, owner of the 18-footer Drone, as the-heavy-weight. The boat will be shipped to her destination this week, and the crew will follow a day or two later. The first race for the cup will be sailed at Akaroai on February 14.
